Rte 212

 

Northeast Ohio's premier country band featuring maximum fiddle  power, tasty guitar licks and rich vocal talent. Rte 212 is a traditional country band with many influences from Waylon Jennings, George Straight, Alabama, Hank Williams Jr., Wade Hayes and other top artists from country musics past.

We also play many newer songs with influences from artists like Brad Paisley, Brothers Osborne, Cody Jinks, Ray Scott, and Jason Andean.

Rte 212 takes the stage with 75 years of combined musical experience playing the latest country hits as well as

Chad wayner

Lead vocal, Accoustic Guitar

 

Arash "Raj" Ghahremani

Raj grew up in Orange Village and started playing the violin at the age of 9. His father and grandfather both also play and played violin growing up in the Middle East region of the World. He took Suzuki-style violin lessons for 11 years and went to Kent State University. There he was one of the first students to get a partial scholarship as a non-music major. He was a part of the KSU symphony orchestra for his college years. After college he took a break from music to raise his family and after this he got back into playing music. “Country music was the only station i could get on my AM radio on my first pickup lol…

 

Scott Smith

Scott started playing bass while serving in the Army. He took a break after being discharged and got back into playing in 2009. “I Love the sound of Outlaw country and if you don’t know who Waylon is we can’t be friends!! Haha”

 

Lego Legros

Lego Legros has been playing guitar for 30 Years. The first music he remembers listening to was Waylon Jennings and Don Williams when he was 3 years old and a love for classic country continues today. When not playing guitar he loves his time with his son Dale.

 

Rick Barnett joined the Cleveland country music scene in 1982 with the 2AM Express. Playing throughout the northeast Ohio area for 15 years in various country and rock bands.

After a short break joined Terry Lee Goffee and the Train of Love band spending seven years on the road. Now I am home again and playing with one of the best bands in Ohio.
